Gasification is coming to the United States:
There are just too many projects being proposed, for it not to be implemented in several locations.
Gasification makes so much more sense than incineration.

At least one of the Energy from Waste companies (Covanta) in the United States is heading down this road and staying ahead of the curve. They are taking incineration to the next level and working on gasification projects including syn-gas. Maybe the Air Force should turn to them for experienced and expert help. There is no reason for someone to make the same mistakes twice. Get past those and move forward.
